Testimonials
“‘Thankful’ does not describe how indebted hundreds of us are, for what Jax Brown has done to assist with the heartbreak, exhaustion, and uncertain future, that comes with the issues of caregiving and coping with the loss of a loved one.
Jax has pursued and received extensive training and certifications in the areas of caregiving, loss, and grief. With that, she has created and consistently provided very helpful programs, delivered by way of Zoom; making her services accessible to all.
With caring, supportive, thoughtful, and orderly guidance as a moderator, she has assisted people from all over the United States and foreign countries, who are seeking answers and common ground for sharing and caring for each other.
As one may determine from my description of Jax, I would highly recommend joining her to see if her services could provide the kind of support you may be seeking in order to get through some very tough emotional times that are part of everyone’s life.”

Participant in Jax Brown’s:
• Spousal Support Group for Lewy-Body Dementia Patients
• Emerge Spousal Grief Support“Having the opportunity to participate in Jax Brown’s support group for grief and mourning over the past 10 months has been an amazing experience. I am a retired social worker and I had no idea that there was a difference between the two.
She has, along with our group, helped me understand the changes that I was experiencing in my body, mind, spirit, and brain. Jax’s compassion, knowledge and her professionalism allowed me to gain a better understanding of myself and that I would be okay. The effort she and her husband put into the graphics offered insight and clarity.
This group was nonjudgmental and supportive. We cried and laughed… yes we were able to laugh when we recalled some of our less sane interactions with our loved ones.
Many thanks Jax for the opportunity to be comfortable enough to share my journey.”
Sincerely and with deep respect and gratitude,
Susan C. – Long Island, NY“At the most scary and confusing time of my life I reached out for something, anything to understand how my life was changing. This is when I found Jax and her spousal support group on Facebook. Jax saw a need in me and reached out to support me in a smaller group. This was a better fit for me.
Through this group, I was able to learn and cope with my life situation. My needs went from needing a spousal support group (my husband of twenty-one years had dementia) to one for widows. Again, Jax was there. She let me know that the journey of grief I was on is one that is mine and mine alone.
Jax has been a great comfort for me, showing compassion and empathy. The meetings I have had with Jax have helped me understand and validate my grief. This is a journey I would not wish for anyone else, but I am grateful for Jax and her compassion.
This is the support that I needed. I can not thank her enough. If you are reading this and need support, the best thing you can do is reach out to her.”

North Port, FL“I have had the privilege of attending Jax Brown’s support group for dementia spouses for almost 3 years. Every week Jax has selflessly led a group of caregivers to help them navigate the continual losses driven by dementia. She has the unique ability to create a safe environment for everyone to share their experiences and get unconditional support. Her compassionate caring for others allows healing to take place as everyone’s pain is witnessed and validated.
After seeing the growth she has encouraged in others, I highly recommend her services to anyone struggling to make sense of their grief journey. I truly don’t know how I could have survived this experience without continual caring and compassion from Jax.”
— W. Cogan, KC, MO“I met Jax Brown in 2020 when I attended a ZOOM meeting of the Caregiver Support Group Jax started. I was overwhelmed with worry about adapting to all the current changes in my husband’s functioning, uncertain about whether I could learn to manage all that was falling to me alone now, and also dealing with abject terror about the future.
Enter Jax and the welcoming space she provided in the support group she started. There I met and have made friends with other care partners, all of us trying to make sense of and learn to cope with the unexpected intrusion of dementia into our lives and understand the loneliness that accompanies care partners of spouses with this disease.
I have come to know and admire Jax and am grateful for her insights. Her non-judgmental positive input and encouragement have helped me through some very dark days. This safe space that Jax has created has been a great and sustaining gift.”
